Puffed Pancakes

Terrific neighbors across the street called these "German pancakes" when they gave us the recipe, but our German guests tell us these are not German, so they've been renamed.

(in all recipes C = cup, T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon)

Preheat of oven to 400°F.

8 eggs (whip)

1 1/3 Cup milk
1 1/3rd Cup flour
3/4 t salt
3 T butter, melted
2 T sugar

2 T butter melted and placed in the 13x9 inch pan (Bev uses a glass baking dish) - tilt the pan all four ways so the butter is spread up the edges about 3/4".

Beat eggs and the add remaining ingredients.  Pour into the buttered pan and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until puffy and golden brown.

Bake 20 minites until the edges raise up on the edges and turn medium brown.

Sprikle with powdered sugar before serving.
